CHECK IN WITH YOUR FAMILY.

A home-screen widget that shows how your people feel. Android and iPhone.

Your parents in one city, a brother in another, a daughter away at college. A call takes planning, a message expects a reply. A family check-in can be lighter than that.

WHAT TINTEE DOES

The scene of a crew of six, everyone’s up: six monsters in their mood colors with their first names and mood words, from excited orange and grateful pink to a blue monster whose mood is sleepy, the wall of drawings at the top and the morning, evening and Sunday tabs below.
THE SCENEYour crew’s monsters, each in the color of their mood. Grey and asleep until they post.
The mood screen: hype is picked, the word excited is checked among others, how strong is set to all the way, and a button reads wake my tint.
YOUR MOODA color, the right word, how strong. Nothing to write.

Rendered from the app’s code with a demo crew. First names are placeholders.

WHAT IT NEVER COLLECTS

The privacy policy lists everything the app keeps, and for how long.

QUESTIONS

Is it a way to keep tabs on someone?

No. There is no location and no message reading. Each person decides when to post a mood, and can pause at any time.

Is there a chat?

No chat and no photos: moods, little signs and invitations from a closed list. For a real conversation, “hop on a call?” is one tap away.

Can my teenager join?

Not during the beta, which is for adults (18+) for now. The app itself is built for ages 13 and up, with a parent’s approval below the age of digital consent: see the parents page.

BETA 18+

TRY IT TOGETHER

Tintee is in beta on Android and iPhone, and a group can mix both. The beta is for adults (18+) for now. Install it together, then one of you creates the group and sends the link to the others.
