A home-screen widget that shows how your people feel. Android and iPhone.
The group chat is either silent or a hundred messages behind. You don’t always want to talk: you just want to know how your friends are doing, and let them know how you are.
WHAT TINTEE DOES
A private group of up to 8 friends, joined only with an invite link.
The widget puts your group on your home screen (and on the lock screen on iPhone); on Android, a floating bubble too. Your friends’ moods at a glance, without opening the app; how many fit depends on the widget size.
Each friend posts a mood when they want: one of ten colors, the right word, how strong. Their tint wakes up in that color.
Daily games, all optional: ÉCHO (three drawings, one word), “Do you know me?” and “This Big”.
The fridge: stick a magnet, or a short line of word magnets, for the group. Each one stays about a week.
On Sunday, the week becomes a comic of up to six panels, drawn from your real moments.
THE SCENEYour crew’s monsters, each in the color of their mood. Grey and asleep until they post.THE SUNDAY COMICUp to six panels from the week’s real moments.
Rendered from the app’s code with a demo crew. First names are placeholders.
WHAT IT NEVER COLLECTS
No feed, no likes, no follower counts, no “seen”.
No strangers: no search, no public profile, no suggested people.
No photos, no location, no contacts, no ads.
The privacy policy lists everything the app keeps, and for how long.
QUESTIONS
Do my friends need the same phone as me?
No. A group can mix Android phones and iPhones.
How many friends can join?
Up to 8 per group. You can be in up to four groups, each with its own mood.
Can I disappear for a while?
Yes. Ghost mode pauses you for an hour, until tonight or for as long as you want. Nobody is told when you go or when you come back.
Tintee is in beta on Android and iPhone, and a group can mix both. The beta is for adults (18+) for now. Install it together, then one of you creates the group and sends the link to the others.
